The Hotel EngineStart for £49/month

Google review cards + managed replies

Every guest, one tap, straight to Google. And you hear what went wrong.

A card at reception opens your Google review form for every guest. Before they get there, one optional question gives you the room, the problem and a way to reach them — on your phone within a minute. We reply to every review in your voice and tell you, monthly, where you're losing stars.

What the guest sees

The same three screens for every guest. Nothing depends on what they write.

  1. 1. Tap or scan

Phone near the card, or scan the QR. No app, no login. Opens in under a second.

  2. 2. One optional question

Room, contact and message are all optional. "Continue to Google" is the only button, for everyone.

  3. 3. Your Google review form

Whatever they wrote — or didn't — the next screen is Google's own review form for your hotel.

What you see

Three things arrive without you doing anything.

The alert — within a minute

Text and email to whoever you choose, with room, message and contact. Reply DONE by text when it's handled. Urgent issues not acknowledged in 20 minutes get a phone call.

The reply — for approval when it matters

Four- and five-star replies post automatically, a few hours later so they don't look robotic. Anything under four stars is emailed to you first: Post, Edit or Hold.

The report — 1st of every month

New reviews, rating trend, what guests are saying and how often, resolved rate, and how you compare to two or three named local competitors. One page.

How we reply

During setup you tell us who signs off, how formal you are and anything not to mention. Every reply follows the same rules:

    First report

Even a quiet first month gives you a baseline: current rating, review count, how often guests are leaving reviews.

We don't filter reviews — and you shouldn't want us to

Every guest gets the same screen and the same Google button, whatever they write. Google prohibits selectively steering happy guests to Google and unhappy ones elsewhere, and hotels have lost reviews and had profiles suspended over it.

The feedback step isn't there to stop a bad review. It's there so that when one is coming, you know the room, the problem and how to reach the guest — and your reply can be specific, honest and read by the next thousand people looking at your profile.

A 4.6 with thoughtful replies to the occasional 3-star converts better than a suspicious 5.0. That's what we're building for you.

Questions hoteliers ask

Only your Google Business Profile. You add our Google account as a Manager — it takes two minutes and you can remove it at any time. We never need your Google password, your PMS or your booking system.

Software drafts, a person checks. Every draft is written from your voice settings and any matching feedback from the card. Four- and five-star replies post after a short delay; anything lower is sent to you to approve, edit or hold.
That happens. The alert and the review are matched by timing, room and keywords, so the draft reply already knows what went wrong and what you did about it. You approve it, and your reply shows future guests you handled it.
Yes — any combination of phone numbers and email addresses. Most owners send texts to the duty phone and emails to themselves.
Yes. Recency matters as much as volume to Google. A profile whose last review is three months old looks like a hotel that has closed; steady new reviews keep you visible.
The card can point anywhere, but the managed plan replies on Google only. Google is where hotel searches start and where your rating affects the map pack. Ask us if you want a second card for Tripadvisor.
From the link in any of our emails, or by emailing us. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current month. The card keeps working as a plain review card.
Guests choose what to leave, and all fields are optional. Contact details are stored in the UK, used only to alert your hotel, and deleted after 90 days. Details are in our privacy policy and our terms include a data processing note for your records.

The card arrives in 48 hours. The first alert usually arrives the same week.
